Duke Bishop Konrad von Querfurt, 1160 - 1202 (murdered), was an important church dignitary. Before he became the Bishop of Würzburg in 1198, he was the Bishop of Hildesheim. He was a fellow student in Paris of the later Pope Innocent III. He was involved in the foundation of the Teutonic Order 1198 in Acre. He was a supporter of King Philip von Hohenstaufen.
